GV II
House. Circa 1600, restored and extended C20. Timber framed, rendered,
plaintile roofs. L plan. 2 storey, 3 cell main range with later additions. 4
ground floor C20 small paned casements with some fixed lights. C20 porch and
door to middle cell beneath axial stack. 4 similar first floor windows and small
light over porch. Axial stack and external left hand gable stack, both with C20
shafts. Interior. Some exposed frame with four-light diamond mullion windows at
first floor level to front, and right hand gable. Blocked doorway with arched
head to front of parlour. Some reused timber. Stack of early brick, partly
plastered or rebuilt. Arched braced cambered tie beams. Clasped purlin roof
with ridge piece and much replaced timber, flat rafters at left hand end.
