House. C17. Timber framed and plastered. Red plain tiled roof. 2 red brick
chimneystacks, off-centre right and external left. Extension to left, brick with
roof hipped to left. Rear wing. 2 storeys. 4 first floor, 3 ground floor small
paned vertically and horizontally sliding sashes. Off-centre right 4-panel 2-light
door, fluted surround, frieze, flat canopy on brackets. Internal features include
through bracing to wall studs, exposed bridging and ceiling joists to some rooms.
One bridging joist has boundary inscriptions to each face, one reading 'Holbrook
Boundary', the other 'Stutton Boundary, 1832'. Brick floors. Open fireplaces with
mantel beams over.
