Probably date from C16 but external features largely C17/18. Most of house
is late C17 with C18 refronting. 2 storey timber fraumed and plastered,
roofs tiled, 2 wings at back extending east. The front breaks forward
slightly at each end with small hips to tiled roof at back of wood ogee
modillion cornice of parapet. 7 window range, flush frame sash with
glazing bars. Dentil pediment doorcase with scroll consoles. The north
side of north-east wing has a late C17 window of 3 lights with arched
central light and leaded panes. There are several interior features
including a late C17 staircase. At north end front, there is a rebuilt
chimney stack with inset panel DW 1765. NMR photos.
