Tablet above 1st floor inscribed JG 1840. 3 storeys, brick, painted. 1 and
2 windows respectively, recessed sash with glazing bars and flat lintols.
One composition together with 1 window return front of No I Market Place.
Slate roof with wide eaves. Ground floor No 37, wood shop front with
pilasters to wood case. No 39, 2 shops at ground floor.

Nos 15 to 39 (odd) and Groves Garage form a group.
