Kerseys Building
TM 0342 2/235


Malthouse granary range. c.1840 English bond red brick; hipped slate
roof with dentilled eaves to granary and gabled corrugated asbestos roof to
malthouse. Rectangular plan with 2-storey, 11-window range malthouse to south
of 2 x 3 bay granary. Segmental arches over iron-barred windows, central plank
left door to north elevation of granary and plank doors to malthouse. Interior
not inspected but noted as having original germinating and granary floors supported by iron and timber posts. C20 block attached to south end is not of special architectural or historic interest.
