An early Cl5 timber-framed and plastered hall house with wings at the
north and south ends. The north wing is of C16 origin and was later
converted into a barn with a small maltings attached. The south wing
is of C17 origin and is jettied on the upper storey on curved brackets
with the remains of carved shafts and capitals to the outer brackets.
2 storeys. The windows are partly double-hung sashes and partly casements.
Roof tiled, with a diagonally shafted chimney stack on the south wing.
The interior has exposed timber-framing and there is an original braced
beam and crown post.
