A C17 timber-framed and plastered house with a cross wing at the south
and. Altered and added to in the C18-C19 and later. The cross wing is
2 storeys and attics and the main block is 1 storey and attics. The gable
of the cross wing is jettied on shaped brackets, with an embattled bressummer,
The ground storey windows are mainly double-hung sashes with glazing bars
and the 1st storey and attic windows are casements. Roofs slate. At
the north end there is a C19 addition with 1 gabled dormer and the main
block has 2 gabled dormers. The main block has a good C17 chimney stack
with 4 grouped octagonal shafts with spur caps on a square base.
