TL 93 NW 11/326
A range of early C19 red brick outbuildings formerly to Costens Hall (demolished)
comprising an octagonal building at the west end which is said to be a

of a half octagon. Originally the outbuildings enclosed an octagonal
courtyard, but the northern range has been mostly demolished. The octagonal
building has a doorway on the north side with a small bulls eye window
above. The other sides have barred openings and sunk panels in the upper
part of the wall. The roofs are of slate and the octagonal building has
a weather vane with the date 1844.
