A C16-C17 timber-framed house plastered at the rear but refronted in
the C19 in red brick. There are cross wings on the north and south ends
which project slightly on the east front. 2 storeys. 3 window range,
double-hung sashes with glazing bars in shallow reveals. The windows
have square label moulds and parallel string courses extend across the
front, the lower one at 1st storey window sill level. There is a central
8-panel door with a plain columned portico with cornice hood. Roofs tiled,
with an original chimney stack at the rear, with 2 octagonal shafts.
