Originally a mediaeval hall house with an open hall, altered in the C16-C17.
A timber-framed and plastered house with cross wings on the north and
south. Refronted in the C19 in gault brick and considerably altered.
2 storeys. 1:2:1 window range, double-hung sashes without glazing bars.
On the ground storey the cross wings have canted bays and the centre block
has a C19 shop front. Roof tiled (old tiles).
