A C16 and later timber-framed and plastered house much altered in the
C18 and C19. The front has rusticated quoins. The house was originally
jettied on the whole of the upper storey but the north part was built
out in the C19 with a shop front. The north part is jettied on Cl9 carved
brackets, closely spaced. 2 storeys. 4 window range, double-hung sashes
without glazing bars. A central 6-panel door with a semi-circular fanlight
with radial glazing bars has a stucco doorcase with pilasters and rusticated
surround. Roof tiled (old tiles), with a wood modillion eaves cornice.
