A mediaeval timber-framed and plastered house, probably of the C15 but
altered in the C18 and later. Renovated in the C20. The house comprises
a central gabled block of 2 storeys with a jettied upper storey and side
blocks of 1 storey and attics. The windows are mainly C20 casements with
lattice leaded lights. There is 1 double-hung sash to the west block
and a small former shop window to the east block, with fluted pilasters
and a cornice. Roofs tiled.
