A range of C18 timber-framed and plastered almshouses arranged in 3 blocks,
with a long block extending east and west, set back, and 2 shorter blocks
extending to the south at the east and west ends. Over the east doorway
of the long block there is the date 1777. 1 storey and attics. Casement
windows, some are old leaded lights and some modern. There is also a
small C19 former shop window in the long block. Roofs pantiled, with
3 dormers to the long block (2 gabled and 1 sloping roofed). The front
of the quadrangle formed by the 3 blocks has 3 large chestnut trees.
