A C17 timber-framed and plastered house altered and added to in the C18
and later. The house comprises a central block with an extension with
a lower roof level at the east end and an extension set back from the
main front at the west end. 2 storeys and attics. The main block and
the east and west extensions are jettied on the upper storey. A small
bay projects on the north front with 2 "gothic" arched lights and there
is a small "gothic" arched casement above on the 1st storey. The other
windows are mainly double-hung sashes with glazing bars. A long wing
extends to the south at the west end. Roofs tiled, with a large rectangular
chimney stack on the main block and a chimney stack with grouped shafts
on the south wing.
