A timber-framed and plastered house, partly brick faced. Of C16-C17 origin
but much altered and added to in the C18 and C19. 2 storeys. The house
has a large double gabled block with other gabled blocks added. The gables
have C19 ornamental bargeboards. The windows are mainly double-hung sashes
with glazing bars (some 3-light). Roofs tiled, with an original chimney
stack at the west end of the main block with 2 octagonal shafts with moulded
caps and bases.
