The present house known as Gads Hill originally comprised a C18-C19 2-storeyed
house at the south end and a range of C18 timber-framed and plastered
cottages of 1 storey and attics to the north. The house to the south is
refaced in brick. 2 window range, double-hung sashes with single vertical
glazing bars, in flush cased frames. There is a central doorway with a
C20 door. Roof tiled, with end chimney stacks. The cottages to the north
have casement windows with leaded lights and 1 horizontal sliding sash.
