House. Probably late C16 - C17 with later alterations and additions, including
renovation of c1962. Timber-framed on brick plinth. Plain tile roof, red brick
stack. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Close studding with long down braces above middle rail.
Casement windows. Hipped, gabletted roof, ridge stack. Addition to right under
pent roof contains present entrance. Interior: exposed beams and joists to ground
floor, sitting room with joists numbered in sequence in Roman numerals. Imported
C16 moulded beams and joists to C20 addition.
