The Thatched Cottage

Cottage. C17/C18. Timber framed and plastered. Thatched roof. Rear lean-to.
Central rear red brick chimney stack. One storey and attics. Two gabled dormers
with small paned vertically sliding sashes. Two small paned casements to ground
floor. Door at rear. Internally the frame is intact with carpenters' marks to
ground cill, the original central chimney bay contained a doorway, through
bracing to walls, side purlin roof.
