No. 101, Olivers


House. C16/C17 or earlier with later additions and alterations, including C20
crosswing to right and forward lean-to porch. Timber framed and plastered. Red
plain tiled roofs. Red brick chimney stack to right of central range, the roof
of this range not connected at ridge to right crosswing. One storey and attic
central range with gabled dormer to right, 2 storey left and right crosswings.
1:1:1 window range of C20 casements. Large C20 single storey lean-to extension
off-centre left with C20 vertically boarded door to left return. Two sets of
rafter feet visible. Internally during a very brief inspection to ground floor,
there appears to be a 2 bay house to right and crosswing to left, all with heavy
chamfered bridging joists and flat section ceiling beams, inglenook fireplace
with straight mantel beam over.
