TM 1354

- II

Farmhouse, late C17 with probable earlier core. Major remodelling of c.1830.
Timber-framed and plastered. Plaintiled roofs; the ridge tiles are crested
with fleurs-de-lys. Axial chimneys of red brick. 2 storeys and attics. 3-
cell cross passage entrance plan. Early C19 small-pane sashes. C19 gabled
plaintiled entrance porch, the bargeboards having undulating soffits; C20
half-glazed panelled door. The higher rear wing was added in late C17, and
the main range probably re-roofed and given attics. A rear outshut is also
C17 work, but some of the wall framing in the main range has a C16 appearance.
