7/37 Pink Cottages

Pair of cottages. Built late C16 or early C17 as one house. 1 storey and
attics. Originally of 2 cell lobby-entrance plan. Timber-framed and
plastered. Thatched roof, hipped at right hand end; three C19 casement
dormers having bargeboards with undulating soffits. Painted brick chimneys:
at gable (C19); and another at lobby-entrance which is probably original. A
pair of late C19 bay windows with hipped plaintiled roofs and casements.
Round-headed C19 entrance door with 6 panels, and gabled plaintiled entrance
porch; elliptical arched outer doorway. Timber-framing mainly concealed; some
unmoulded main members of late C16 form.
