House, probably C17 with alterations of c.1754 (plaster date "S.E.S. 1754"
over entrance). 1 storey and attics. 3-cell cross-passage entrance plan,
incorporating later and higher parlour block to right. Timber-framed and
plastered with C18 cable-pattern pargetting in panels. Thatched roof with one
eyebrow casement dormer. Axial C18 chimney of red brick. Small-pane C19
casements and C19 half-glazed panelled door. Exposed C17 framing including
floor joists laid flat. A wide lintelled open fireplace in the hall. A
single-storey C20 extension to left.
