Farmhouse, early C17. 3-cell cross-passage entrance plan. 2 storeys and
attics. Timber-framed and plastered on tarred brick plinth. Concrete
pantiled roof with axial C18 chimney of red brick. C19 or early C20 3-light
small-pane casements. C19 6-panelled entrance door, the upper pair of panels
glazed. A complete and typical C17 farmhouse with unmoulded fully-exposed
framing. Floor joists laid flat, chamfered in the parlour. Two altered
lintelled open fireplaces. Original attic above hall and parlour cells only.
Wind-braced clasped purlin roof.
