Farmhouse, mid C16 core with alterations of C17 and later. Timber-framed and
plastered. Slated roof with restored C17 chimneys of red brick, one at right
hand gable, the other placed axially, both with sawtooth-type shafts. 2
storeys. C20 casements and boarded entrance door. A mid C16 cross-entry
doorway (now internal) has moulded jambs and a depressed 4-centred head with
rose-carved spandrels; also believed to have a ceiling with moulded beams and
joists, and blocked mullioned windows. Interior not examined. N.M.R.
