House. Late C18 or early C19. Timber frame, plastered. Pantiled roofs. 2
cell lobby entry plan with a 2 bay backhouse to rear forming a T on plan. 1
storey and attics. Central 6 panelled architraved door, flanking 2-light
casements, hoodboards, boxed eaves, 2-light gabled dormers, large axial ridge
stack to centre. Gable end casements, exposed plates and purlins in slightly
raised roof. To rear right a weatherboarded lean-to. Facing green backhouse
has a boarded door to right towards main range, 2 and 3-light glazing bar
casements with hoodboards, a dual 2-light gabled dormer. Left or rear gable
end large external stack with flanking pantiled oven outshuts, exposed plates
and purlins. Interior: stop chamfered cross axial binding beams, through
tension bracing, 'WB 1816' on pump in backhouse.
