Barn, c.1600, reroofed in C18. Timber frame on brick base, weatherboarded and
corrugated sheet cladding. Steeply pitched corrugated sheet roof. 5 bays.
Central double doors. Interior: close studding with mid-rail, crossed halved
braces in end walls, tension inside and arched outside upper studs; arched
braces to tie beams replaced by knees, double staggered tenoned purlin roof,
collars to principals. Attached to front are low clay lump sheds,a hipped
pantiled roof to left, corrugated lean-to roof to right. Mill Farmhouse is
not listable.
