House, originally a pair of cottages. Mid to late C18, cased in C19. Clay
lump with a colourwashed red brick skin. Hipped thatched roof. 2 cells to
each side of a central stack. 2 storeys. Entrances were to centre of each
cottage, that to left remains with a C20 thatched gabled porch, that to right
blocked with a window. 2-light glazing bar casements, segmental headed on
ground floor. Central axial ridge stack. To rear left a lean-to outshut
addition. Interior: axial binding beams, collars to side purlin roof. Listed
as an interesting survival of clay lump construction.
