House. Early to mid C17, altered and extended C20. Timber frame, plastered.
Thatched roof. 3 cell lobby entry plan. 1 storey and attic. Entrance to
left of centre in a C20 thatched gabled porch, part glazed and part fielded 6
panelled door, 2 and 3-light C20 lattice leaded casements, 3 box dormers with
moulded heads and 2-light glazing bar casements. Axial ridge stack to left of
centre between hall and parlour has rebated arrises to shaft. Gable end
exposed plates and side purlins with a 2-light glazing bar casement to left
attic. C20 additions to rear with a 1 storey pantiled outbuilding extending
to right. Interior: frame largely concealed, double bar stopped chamfered
axial binding beam and storey posts at service end, hall and parlour have
large bar stops to chamfered binding beams, runout chamfered joists, chamfered
mid-rails. First floor and roof not inspected.
