House. 'JH and DH 1622' on fireplace bressumer, altered C20. Timber frame,
plastered in panels and weatherboarded. Thatched roof. 2 cells with end
stack. 1 storey and attic. Central entrance in a C20 thatched gabled porch,
offset brick plinth, C20 2-light lattice leaded casements, 2 raking 2-light
dormers. Right end rendered extruded stack, rebuilt cap. Attached to left
end a low weatherboarded service outshut with a hipped roof, weatherboarded
gable end. To rear a C20 1 storey flat roofed addition. Interior: stop
chamfered fireplace bressumer with original date and initials, also 'EA 1765'
and 'TE 1785', chamfered axial binding beam, cranked arched bracing in walls,
cambered collars clasp purlins with tension bracing across rafters.
