Barn. C16. Timber frame, rendered above weatherboarding. Hipped thatched
roof. 4 bays. Double doors to right of centre with an opposed C19 gabled
midstrey flanking which are pantiled outshuts. Interior: full height close
studding with cranked and reverse cranked arched braces in walling, edge
halved scarf joints in wall plates, arched braces from jowled posts to
straight tie beams, queen post roof with arched braces to cambered collars.
Extending towards house from end bays are 2 low C19 red brick and clay lump,
part weatherboarded pantiled sheds, part open. Attached to left end a low C19
clay lump range with a returning arm in red brick, open to yard, hipped angle
to pantiled roof.
