GV II

House, now 2 dwellings. Mid to late C17, altered C19. Timber frame,
plastered. Thatched roof. 2 cells, originally with a lobby entry plan. 1
storey and attic. Original central entrance blocked, steps up to boarded
architraved doors at outer ends, an open gabled porch with chamfered timber
uprights to left. 3-light glazing bar casements with hoodboards, 2 and 3-
light thatched gabled dormers. Central axial ridge stack, left gable end
attic. 2-light casement, exposed plates and collars of thin scantling clasping
purlins. Right gable end attic 2 and 3-light casements. To rear a brick
lean-to addition with corrugated sheet roofing. Interior: axial and cross
axial stop chamfered binding beams, frame largely concealed.
