House. Early C18, extended and altered C19. Timber frame, plastered.
Thatched roof. Small 2 cells with end stack, 1 bay added to right, 1 storey
and attic with 1 storey addition. Entrance to right of original centre with
boarded architraved door, flanking 3-light glazing bar casements with
hoodboards, a similar dormer above entrance with a thatched gabled head, added
kitchen bay to right has a brick base and a step up to a boarded architraved
door. Originally external stack to right is now incorporated into slightly
lower later bay, left gable end pentice board, attic 3-light casement, exposed
plates and purlins. To rear a boarded door opposite front door, 2 and 3-light
glazing bar casements with hoodboards. Behind added bay a low C19 clay lump
pantiled addition with a stable door on outer elevation. Interior: frame of
small scantling is largely concealed, chamfered axial binding beam. C19
reeded fireplace, side purlin roof, an ogee stop chamfered cross axial binding
beam in added bay.
