Terrace of 3 cottages. Built C17 as one house; major alterations of c.1860
when subdivided; further major alterations of 1985/86. Timber-framed, encased
and underbuilt in C19 red brick. Pantiled roofs, probably thatched until C19,
three gabled C19 casement dormers with serpentine bargeboards. C19 axial and
gable end chimneys of red brick with splayed pilasters. 3-light small-pane
casements, alternating with three 4-centred arched entrance doorways; boarded
and battened doors with ornate wrought iron strap hinges. C17 wind-braced
clasped-purlin roof and other vestigal framing. Two storey gabled rear wings
of 1985.
