Terrace of 3 cottages, built in mid/late C16 as one house. C19 remodelling.
One storey and attics. Originally of 3-cell cross-entry plan. Timber-framed
and plastered; the front wall of Nos. 124 and 125 was encased in C19 red
brick, now painted. Pantiled C19 roof with gabled casement dormers. An axial
C17 chimney of red brick. C19 casements and boarded entrance doors; No.125
has an entrance door at the cross-entry position. A continuous rear outshut
added in C19. The hall and parlour (Nos.125 and 126) have good closely-set
chamfered exposed C16 floor joists. A little close-studding is visible.
Large blocked open fireplaces, these and other framing mainly concealed.
