Former farmhouse. Mid or late C16. 2 storeys. 3-cell plan. Timber-framed
and pebbledashed. Pantiled roof with axial chimney of red brick; late C16 or
early C17, the shaft rebuilt in C19. C19 casements at 1st storey, mid C20
casements at ground storey. Two mid C20 entrance doorways, one at the gable
end with pantiled open porch (the house had until mid C20 been divided into
two cottages). Timber framing largely concealed: some C16 unchamfered floor
joists laid flat. Queenpost roof with square-set triangular-sectioned
purlins.
