Farmhouse, probably built in two stages, C16 and early C17. 3-cell cross-
entry plan, the parlour cell is of cross-wing form and probably of C17. 2
storeys, the cross-wing with attics. Timber-framed and plastered; the wing is
jettied at gable foot. Plaintiled roofs. An axial chimney of C17/C18 red
brick. Mainly late C19 or early C20 casements, some with leaded lights;
several small C16/C17 mullioned windows are exposed and glazed, some with
ovolo mullions. Boarded C20 entrance door. A rear range probably originated
as a C16/C17 bakehouse and dairy; it was detached until C19 or C20.
