4/85 Sundial, 30m south west of
- west elevation of
Helmingham Hall


Sundial, C19. Limestone; about 1.5m high. The plinth is octagonal, the stem
of vase form with gadrooning is also octagonal. The dial is of bronze,
accurately inscribed, including the Tollemache Arms, the makers name (George
Adams of Fleet Street, London), and calendar information. Included as Grade I
in the H.B.M.C. Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.
