Farmhouse, C15 or early C16 core with alterations of mid C16 and later. 3-
cell plan, with lobby entrance from C17. 1 storey and attics. Timber-framed
and pebble-dashed. Pantiled roof once thatched; early C20 monopitch casement
dormers. Axial C18/C19 chimney of red brick. Early C20 small-pane casements.
Late C19 4-panelled entrance door with broad fluted architrave and pediment.
The storey-posts of the central open truss of an open hall are visible with
damaged polygonal shafts; the remainder of the truss may have been removed.
An inserted C16 1st floor in the hall has heavy unchamfered joists. The
parlour cell to left is a rebuilding of C17. Framing otherwise largely
concealed.
