Nos 1 and 2 (Park Farm Cottages)

Pair of cottages. Built as one 3-cell house with both cross-entry and lobby-
entry in late C16 or early C17. 2 storeys. Timber-framed and pebble-dashed.
Roman pantiled roof, probably once thatched; C17 axial chimney of red brick,
the base having a sunk plastered panel, no doubt once containing a date;
sawtooth shaft. A second C17/C18 axial chimney. C19 and C20 casements; a
slightly-projecting altered C17 chamber window has a moulded cill on console
brackets. Two late C19 or C20 boarded entrance doors. Interior not examined.
