Barn, mid C16 with alterations of C18. 8 bays. Timber-framed and
weatherboarded. Pantiled roof. Sets of 4 boarded barn doors on south side,
at bays 3 and 7 from west. A large barn with high quality framing: very
closely-spaced studwork with prominent arch-windbracing. Arch-braced
tiebeams; many braces and some beams were renewed in C18. Butt-purlin C18
roof; the original roof was of side-purlin (or possibly coupled-rafter) form.
An extension was added to the rear of bay 3, c.1800.
