Former farmhouse, late C16 with mid C20 alterations. 2 storeys, 3-cell plan
with lobby entrance. Timber-framed and plastered. Plaintiled roof with axial
and gable chimneys of red brick. Late C20 small-pane casements and boarded
door at lobby-entrance position; lean-to plaintiled open porch on posts.
Plain framing with evidence for diamond-mullioned windows (one survives,
blocked). Plain framing: close-studding and unchamfered floor-joists. Butt-
purlin roof.
