Gospel Hall. Built C17 or earlier as a 3-cell house, and in at least 2
stages; converted to present use in mid/late C19. One storey and attics.
Timber-framed and plastered. Thatched roof with axial chimney, the shaft
rebuilt in C19 red brick. Two thatched gabled dormers with late C18 or early
C19 casements. Two mid C19 mullioned and transomed windows in the meeting
room; various C19 and C20 casements elsewhere. Slated timber-framed entrance
porch, and within it a pair of 3-panelled mid C19 doors. The meeting room
comprises former hall and service cell, and the upper floors from this area
were removed in C19; also incorporated is a C19 outshut.
