3/71 Granary/cartlodge,
- aligned east/west, 30m
north of Holyoak Farmhouse

GV II

Granary/cartlodge; probably late C18, reusing many C17 components. 3 bays.
Timber-framed and weatherboarded. Corrugated iron roof, once thatched. 3
pairs of C19/C20 boarded doors. Massive main beams and posts of oak, well
formed and originally with heavy arch-bracing, now with bolted knees. Good-
quality upper floor with oak joists set on edge. Primary-braced studding:
2-tier C18 butt-purlin roof with rafter-braces. C19 grain bins in position.
