2/72 Fen Farmhouse

Farmhouse; C17 or earlier, and possibly with medieval core. Hall range of one
storey and attics; crosswings at either end. Timber-framed and plastered.
Pantiled roofs probably once thatched; two C19 gabled casement dormers. An
axial chimney of late C16 or early C17 orange and buff bricks. Late C19 or
early C20 casements, most with transomes. A mid/late C19 entrance porch of
painted brick; plaintiled, with a coped parapet gable. 4-panelled entrance
door with a pointed fanlight. Interior not examined.
