House, early C17. 3-cell plan. 1 storey and attics. Timber-framed and
roughcast. Thatched roof with C18/C19 axial chimney of red brick. One eybrow
dormer with small-pane casement. Two C19 small-pane casements and one of C20
with large panes. Two boarded entrance doors. Unmoulded C17 framing:
studding with prominent arch-windbraces, floor joists set on edge. There is
some evidence that the house was originally built without an upper floor;
arch-braces to tiebeams pass through the floor at some points.
