2/91 Pair of gate piers on the
- north side of Park Road,
35m south of Model Farm

GV II

Pair of gate piers, c.1867, for Lankester Webb. Formerly supporting gates at
the entrance to the Model Farm from Park Road (see previous item). About 2.3m
high and O.5m square piers with slight chamfer, on a splayed plinth of gault
brick. Heavy weathered capping of reconstituted stone with simple moulded
brick cornice below. The gate hinges remain but gates are missing. Included
for group value.
