House and former shop. Early C17, probably in 2 phases. Timber framed and
plastered. Roof with plaintiles to the front and black pantiles to the rear.
2 storeys and attic. C18 casement windows with modern square-leaded glass.
To the left a lobby entrance with a 2-storey gabled porch added c.1900; 6-
panel door with the upper 2 panels glazed. Another doorway of C19 date with
6-panel fielded door, reeded architrave and cornice. To the right a late C19
projecting shopfront: 2 large-paned windows, splayed to the doorway; inset
half-glazed door and plain oblong fanlight. A smaller projecting shop window
adjacent. Plain internal stack. Internally there is some good studding on
the upper floor with heavy straight braces. The shop interior still retains
much late C19 partitioning against the walls.
