FRESSINGFIELD LITTLE WHITTINGHAM GREEN,
TM 27 NE WOOD LANE

Farmhouse. Late C16/early C17 with small additions at each gable end. Timber
framed and plastered, the rear wall cased in common brick c.1920. Pantiled
roof. 2 storeys. 4 windows, mainly C18 casements; some square-leaded panes
to first floor windows. Lobby entrance: 6-panel raised and fielded door, open
timber porch with semi-circular roof. Above the porch is a small circular
window. Rendered internal stack. Internally much of the structure is said to
be concealed. Newel stairs. The right hand cell is used as a workshop: the
floor has been removed and the roof renewed.
