House, latterly 4 cottages. Late C16/early C17 with much later alteration.
Timber framed and plastered with a roof of thatch. 2 storeys and attic. 4
windows, mid C20 large-paned casements. Mid C20 boarded entrance door. 4 mid
C20 dormers. A central axial stack and an external stack against each end
gable. Modernised interior with frame exposed. Stands on the site of the
former guildhall, and was at one time used as the parish workhouse.
