Farmhouse. Fragmentary medieval core with late C16 parlour addition to right;
altered and extended to left in late C19 to form a single long range. Older
parts timber framed and plastered, with red brick addition. Pantiled roof. 2
storeys. 4 windows, 3-light large-paned mullion and transom casements. 2
late C16 mullioned windows to rear and others visible inside. C19 addition
has gabled porch and mid C20 boarded door; older part has mid C20 half glazed
door. 2 internal stacks. The parlour has some good studding and a chamfered-
joist ceiling; an internal doorway with 4-centre arched head. Most of the
earlier core is concealed: this part of the house was raised and re-roofed in
late C19. The roof over the parlour range is intact.
